Greetings from Taiwan Cement Corporation
To all the participants of Global Cement and Concrete Association
It is my pleasure to be here to make a statement on behalf of my company.
Everything in nature has its own beauty.
Man is a sentiment being and the cosmos has its own rhythm.
The human body is created by natural law and the laws of physics.
Humans should be able to live in harmony with the environment and take care of each other.
Humanities, science and philosophy make up the foundation of human civilization.
Only when we understand the environment and ourselves, can we elevate ourselves truly.
Ever since the Industrial Revolution, nature’s balance has been disturbed by mankind, especially in terms of carbon dioxide emission.
Human society and natural environment should be able to improve at the same time without seriously affecting our planet.
So carbon dioxide emission and the balance of nature is the challenge of our cement industry
Taiwan Cement will do our best to fulfill our responsibility and obligation to Earth.
