用中文都很難聊天了，那英文呢？「和外國朋友聊天好困難！」別擔心，討論電影是很好的開場白。一起認識電影常用字的英文，讓找話題不再是難事！
trailer
「預告片」的意思，「電影預告片」就是 movie trailer。trailer 也有「拖車」的意思喔！另外補充 teaser 這個字，即「前導片 (片花)」，為電影裡剪輯出來的零碎畫面，teaser 本身是「戲弄別人的人」之意，所以 teaser 的目的當然是為了觀眾的好奇心囉！ teaser 通常是非正式的，且不像預告片一樣會放電影的片段，可以說是電影的廣告。
Easter egg
即「片中隱藏的驚喜片段；彩蛋」，像是迪士尼非常喜愛將 Easter egg 置於電影中，「米奇在哪裡」就是早期迪士尼喜歡在影集中藏入的彩蛋，讓大家找找電影中米奇標誌的身影，而近期更是越來越多電影會讓旗下角色到別片客串，這也是 Easter egg 的一種！
mid-credits scene
是指跑完一段片尾之後，「接近片尾的花絮」，說到這不得不再次提到迪士尼，迪士尼的電影喜歡放入兩段片尾花絮，在主要演員名單跑完之後會出現的第一段片尾花絮，就是 mid-credits scene。
post-credits scene
又稱 stinger、coda 或 credit cookie。皆指「字幕後的片尾花絮」，中文和 Easter egg 一樣都翻成「彩蛋」，但意思卻不同喔！當黑底白字的工作人員名單都播映完畢時，出現的就是 post-credits scene。不知道大家有沒有看過 xxx (主角名) will return，即「xxx 會再度回歸」的字樣呢？這也是 stinger 的一種。
cameo
常看電影的朋友們一定對這個字不陌生，就是「客串」！指有名的演員在電影裡飾演不起眼的小角色，像是漫畫之父史丹利 (Stan Lee) 常常在自家電影，甚至是對手 DC 的電影中客串一些跑龍套的角色，尋找他的身影是影迷的樂趣之一呢！另外，常說的「友情客串」即是 cameo role。
blooper
就是常說的「NG 畫面」，也可以說是 outtake，絕對不是 NG scene 喔！NG 是亞洲國家慣用的說法，即 no good 的縮寫。此外，「幕後花絮」是 behind the scenes，意為「鏡頭後的畫面」，相信從字面上的意思就可以探知一二啦！
subtitle
看外語電影最需要的「字幕」！因為字幕有很多句，所以通常為複數型態。字首 sub- 是「在下方、附屬」之意，故「附屬的標題」就可以理解為「字幕」囉！而我們需要的「雙語字幕」是 bilingual subtitles。
set
或稱 movie set，指「電影拍攝的片場、佈景」，「在片場」為 on the set。另外，shoot a scene 是「拍攝一個場景 (拍片)」的意思。
box office
即「票房」。「票房大賣」可以用 xxx (片名) succeeded at the box office、「獨霸票房」用 dominated the box office 表示，「賣座鉅片」是 a box-office hit、a blockbuster；而「票房毒藥」則是 a box-office bomb、a box-office flop。
A: Hey, do you watch action movies? I never miss any of them.
A: 嘿，你看動作片嗎？我每部都會看。
B: No, I'm not into that kind of movies. However, the cast of every action movie always looks good.B: 不會，我對這種電影沒興趣，不過每部的卡司看起來都很讚。
A: I know, right? Come on, give it a try! You'll love it! The one that is recently in theaters is outstanding. I've seen it already.
A: 對吧！來啦，試試看吧！你會喜歡的。最近上映的那部就滿出色的，我已經看過了。
B: I've seen some trailers before, it's just not my thing.
B: 我之前有看過一些預告片，只是我就不太喜歡。
A: At least try to watch the one I recommended. It succeeded at the box office. Besides, your favorite actress played a cameo role in it. She made an appearance as an Easter egg.A: 至少看看我推薦的那部嘛！它票房大賣耶！另外，你最喜歡的女演員有友情客串喔，她短暫出鏡的畫面是一顆彩蛋。
B: Really? Then I'm gonna go check it out!
B: 真假？那我要去看！
A: Oh, and don't forget to wait until the very end. You will see a mid-credits scene and a stinger that show the funny bloopers and behind the scenes. You won't believe what happened on the set!A: 噢，那記得要等到最後再走，因為有兩段片尾會播放好笑的 NG 畫面和幕後花絮，你一定想不到片場到底發生了什麼事！
除了基本的 action (開始動作)、cut (結束拍攝) 之外，這次又多學到了一些單字。希望大家可以好好利用這些詞彙，盡情暢談電影囉！
