額外補充 offer an olive branch 伸出橄欖枝，表「主動」表達和解的願望，所以在這個俚語中，用 offer 比其他表示「提供」的單字更為恰當喔！

supply
時常與 provide 相互使用，同樣是提供他人所需的東西，但 supply 更偏重於「大量和長期供給」，當名詞使用時，常為「供應品、補給品、生活用品」之意涵，強調「定期供應補給」。用法與 provide 雷同，分為 supply sb. with sth. 和 supply sth. to sb. 兩種用法。
The company supplies all its employees with a violence-free working environment.
The company supplies a violence-free working environment to all its employees.
公司為員工提供無暴力的工作環境。
proffer
雖然 proffer 也是「提供」的意思，但它強調「給出去、伸出去」的動作，也能當作是「提供建議或意見」時，使用的動詞，主要用法與 offer 相似為 proffer sb. sth.。
Jack proffered me a cup of coffee that made me feel so warm.
Jack 遞上一杯咖啡給我，讓我覺得很溫暖。She struggled to proffer some great ideas in the morning conference.
她試圖在晨間會議中提供一些好點子。
