suite /swit/ 意指「套房」，尤指「飯店套房」，尤其是那種附有小廚房和起居室，如同一個小公寓的飯店套房。room 則是用來泛指「房間」，如：single room (單人房)、double room (一張雙人床的雙人房)、twin room (兩張單人床的雙人房)，這些房型通常僅含衛浴設備和臥室。deluxe 為形容詞，表示「豪華的；高檔的」，因此 deluxe suite 即是「豪華套房」。
