由全球專業汽車產業從業人員所評選的「 Best Cars of the Year – The New Car World Championships」，日前公布了最終獲獎結果，BYD和Renault分別獲得兩項大獎。
在2024/2025「 Best Cars of the Year – The New Car World Championships」的評選中，Renault 5獲得了《The New Car World Champion 2024 / 2025》世界新車冠軍大獎，同時也得到《The Best Electric Car of the Year》年度最佳電動車的殊榮，可說是最大贏家。
而BYD則是以 Seal saloon/sedan 與Seal SUV全系列獲得《 The Best Car Line-Up of the Year》年度最佳車系，同時，BYD另或的了《 The Best Car Company of the Year》年度最佳汽車公司獎項。
而大家熟知的Volkswagen Golf車系則是以問世半世紀的歷史，榮獲《 The Best Car of the Half Century》殊榮，另外，在英國大獲好評的MG Cyberster則是獲得 《 The Best Sports Car of the Year 》的肯定。
至於其他獎項部分，Lexus LBX贏得了《 The Best Value Premium Car of the Year》年度最佳高級車，Suzuki Swift獲《 The Best Affordable Hybrid Car》年度最佳經濟型混合動力車，台灣消費者比較陌生的Dacia Spring，則是得到了《 The Best Bargain Car of the Year》年度最佳平價車款獎項。
