James: Hey Johnny, I heard that your favorite tennis player is playing an exhibition match in Taiwan. Let's go watch!
James: Johnny，我聽說你最喜歡的球星要來台灣打表演賽，我們一起去看球賽吧！Johnny: Our minds are in sync! I was just about to ask you if you wanted to go.
Johnny: 我們真是心有靈犀！我正想要問你。James: Let's go!
James: 我們走吧！(At the tennis court)
(在網球場)Johnny: My favorite player is an excellent server; he's sure to win.
Johnny: 我最喜歡的球員在這場比賽裡是發球方，我覺得他今天一定會贏的這場比賽。James: Don't write off his opponent—he's also a rising star in the sport.
James: 不要覺得另一個一定會輸，他的對手也是一個新星。(After few minutes)
(過幾分鐘後)James: Oh! It's a let . He'll need to be more careful with his next serve.
James: 喔！觸網球，好可惜！Johnny: Yeah, but I think his opponent can counter his serve with his lob.
Johnny: 是阿，但我想他的對手可以發高球反擊。
exhibition match (n.) 表演賽
在運動項目中，除了正規的比賽之外，運動協會也可能會舉辦明星表演賽到各地表演，而表演賽的英文就是 exhibition match，exhibition 是名詞，表示「展覽；表現」之意，match 在此則是「比賽」的意思，特別指網球、羽球這類的比賽。若是其他種運動的表演賽或熱身賽，也可以說 exhibition game。
