常常聽到很多英語學習者抱怨，明明中文只要一個字，但英文卻會依照使用情境，細分成不同的字。例如「看」英文就有 see, watch, look...，「烤」英文就有 toast, bake, roast...。
但其實中文也一樣，英文只要一個字，中文卻會依照使用情境，翻譯成「轉機」、「轉車」「轉學」、「轉系」、「轉帳」、「轉接」、「調職」。所以真的不要再龜笑鱉沒有尾巴啦！

Translate 最常用的意思是「翻譯」，用法可以是 translate A into B。例如：

另外也有把某個抽象的概念「轉化」成實際行動、能應用的計畫等等。例如：
I'm thinking about how to translate this marketing theory into a practical plan.

Transport 最常見的意思「運輸」，同時可以當名詞和動詞。
注意當名詞時，重音在第一音節，當動詞時，則會移到第二音節。
另外，Transport 當名詞的用法在英式英文中較常見，美式英文通常用 transportation 喔。
舉個例子：
The public transportation system in Taipei is impressive! You can easily get around by MRT, bus, or train.
