成為上班族，一定不能不學「辦公室實用英文」。在寫信或報告時，我們可能還是會常常說出文法不正確的句子喔。往下看情境對話，一起看看 David 又寫錯了什麼吧！
情境對話
David 今天寫了一封信給客戶，句尾寫到：
Please email to me before Friday.（請在星期五之前寄信給我。）
John 老師經過 David 旁邊，就跟他說這句話有個地方寫錯了。大家想想，哪裡寫錯了？
破解 NG 英文
找出錯誤了嗎？就是 email to me 這部分寫錯囉！
首先要先認識 email 這個單字。email 當作名詞時，意思是大家都知道的「電子郵件」。而當作動詞時，就是「寄電子郵件給某人」的意思，是個「及物動詞」，及物動詞就是能直接接上受詞的動詞。所以，中文說「寄電子郵件給某人」，看到「給」，大家可能會下意識地加上 to，但其實不需要這個介係詞，直接寫上收件的對象即可喔，用法是 email someone（寄信給某人）或是 email someone something（寄給某人某物）。
所以，這樣表達是錯誤的：
Please email to me before Friday.
正確寫法要寫：
Please email me before Friday.
再多舉幾個 email 當作動詞的用法給大家參考：
Have you emailed me the list?（你把那個列表寄給我了嗎？）
Please attach the document when you email me.（你寄電子郵件給我的時候，請附上那份文件。）
Can you email me the report by Friday?（你可以在星期五之前把那份報告寄給我嗎？）
Don't forget to email our manager the file we went through today.（別忘了寄我們今天討論的那份檔案給經理。）
如果你真的真的很想用 to 的話，則要換個說法：用 email something to someone（寄某物給某人），一樣要要在 email 後面直接接上受詞，例如：
Did he email the resume to you?（他有寄履歷給你嗎？）
Please email the proposal to me by today.（請在今天之前寄提案給我。）
Andrew forgot to email the important report to his boss, so he got yelled at.（Andrew 忘記把那份重要的報告寄給他老闆了，所以他被罵了。）
學完了 email 當作動詞的用法，下次請別人寄電子郵件，就不要再寫錯囉！
