go to the movies 是一個較美式的用法， the movies 有「電影院」的意思 (要記得 movie 一定要加 s)，所以 go to the movies 的字面意思是「去電影院」，去電影院基本上就只有一個目的，就是看電影，因此這句的意思是「去電影院看電影」。另外，也可以用 go see a movie 表達相同意思。
A: Any plans for tonight?
B: No, why?
A: Let's go see a movie then.A: 今晚有什麼計劃？
B: 沒有，怎麼了？
A: 那去看電影吧！

（Ｘ）How do you think about ______?
（Ｏ）What do you think of/about _______? / How do you feel about ______?
當詢問別人對於某個人事物的觀感時，how 和 what 這兩個疑問詞應該是大家常常會使用但也會搞錯的。「怎麼樣」的英文是 how，但是如果你說 How do you think about…? 就會變成「詢問方式」。how 通常搭配的動詞是 feel (覺得)，所以要說 How do you feel about….? 才是正確的。如果想要用 think (認為) 這個動詞，則要用 what (什麼) 開頭。
A: What do you think about the ideas John just proposed in the meeting?
B: Well, I think they sound feasible, but some details must be discussed before we make an official proposal to the department manager.A: 你覺得剛剛 John 在會議中所提出的想法怎麼樣？
B: 嗯，我覺得是可行的。不過在向部門經理正式提出前，有一些細節須再討論。
