I need to put my son to sleep."
原來安置人入睡,英文要說 put someone to bed:I need to put my son to bed.
You need to work on your presentation, or you're going to put your audience to sleep!
This injection will put you to sleep so you won't feel any pain.(打一針會讓你入睡,所以不會有疼痛感。)
Stray dogs are usually put to sleep if no one claims them.(流浪狗無人認領通常會被安樂死。)
You always seemed so well-behaved that my fears were put to sleep.(你看上去總是那麼舉止得體,我的擔心也就打消了。)
Put it there!
This goes a great way towards solving problem.(這有助於解決問題。)
Put it there!(我同意!)
So, do we have a deal?(那麼,我們達成協議了?)
"Sure, put it there.(當然,我們握個手吧。)
